Since first working together in 2012, Licence Bureau has supported Brake through various campaigns and projects, including encouraging its clients to take advantage of complimentary membership to Brake Professional, Brake’s fleet-specific portal.

In addition to providing advice and guidance on risk management, Brake Professional membership provides free training on engaging drivers with road safety, a suite of best practice tools for drivers and managers and exclusive access to road safety conferences, webinars and seminars.

Licence Bureau employees have volunteered their time to teach road safety best practice to local secondary schools during Brake’s annual Road Safety Week, helping to educate the next generation of drivers by instilling a culture of road safety as early as possible.

Malcolm Maycock, managing director at Licence Bureau, also volunteers his spare time at various Brake events throughout the year that has resulted in better safety management for thousands of drivers and businesses.

Brake and Licence Bureau’s long-standing partnership will continue throughout 2017, with a best practice roundtable event scheduled for September, and a survey report providing insight on risk management in the fleet industry.

Richard Coteau, corporate fundraising manager at Brake, said: “Licence Bureau’s commitment to road safety is exceptional, and we are incredibly proud to partner with an organisation who shares our passion for reducing the number of incidents on our roads.

“Its support is invaluable to the charity, allowing us to coordinate our national Road Safety Week, and support local communities campaigning for safer roads. Its efforts are a fantastic example of how companies can become involved in improving road safety; we look forward to continuing our partnership throughout 2017 and beyond.”

Malcolm Maycock, managing director at Licence Bureau, added: “Brake’s work is admirable, and an extremely worthy cause to support. Everyone at Licence Bureau is passionate about improving overall road safety, both in and outside the workplace and we look forward to continuing our close relationship with Brake as we strive to make our roads a safer place for all road users. We urge anyone who wants to help this become a reality to contact Brake and see how they can make a difference.”
