– AJ Bell Stadium, Manchester
– Thursday, November 15
– Expert representing TTC: Adrian Hide & Matt Rapier
Our Senior Road Safety Consultant Adrian Hide is amongst a selective group of experts who will be speaking at the Health and Safety Conference. The event, which will also be attended by our Business Development Manager Matt Rapier, highlights issues surrounding work-related ill health and discusses how these challenges can be overcome.
The ‘morning after’ drinking alcohol is one area often overlooked by employers – yet this has a huge impact on businesses. Workers are less productive, they could call in sick or worse still lose their licence if caught driving while still over the drink-drive limit.
A ‘morning after’ scenario, could this be one of your employees? – this is the question Adrian will put to the 300-plus health and safety professionals at the event on November 15. He will advise employers on how to address their duty of care for staff who drive for work purposes while being impaired through alcohol. He will also explain how long it takes the body to get rid of alcohol.
If you or your employees drive for work, then you need to protect your fleet and business. We provide training and education resources to help your employees understand how alcohol and drugs can affect their driving performance.
